Prism setup on silicon MacBookPro

Hey all,

I'm not even sure if it's related in any way, but trying to run Prism setup command on silicon based MacBookPro fails. After entering pass for root account, installation process just stops. Mac OS is updated to latest version. I attach a screenshot, but not much is visible there. Any thoughts what I could try?

I think it has to do with file/folder autorisation Apple recently introduced. I ran into multiple issues trying to run prism on my MacBook M1...

I recently found a way to make the integration in maya work. Didn't succeed to install the "standalone" stuff.

To install integration for DCCs, you need to find the python script into prism/Scripts/PrismUtils/Integration.py and run it with python 2.7. It should ask you for the path to your DCC app and work as expected.

Just missing the standalone apps. When I have time, I'll try to figure it out.

Hope this helps

Richard, could we please have a step by step setup for M1. I've been trying to set it up for a while and can't get past PySide, even though I have it installed via Homebrew.
