Playblasting in Blender Not Completing

Howdy, I seem to be running into this odd behavior with Prisims playblasting feature for Blender.

Whenever I initiate a playblast through the State Manager, the sequence begins to playbast but quickly freezes on some arbitrary frame (sometimes doing none at all) followed by my CPU to jumping to 100% usage. And it just stalls there until I force close Blender. It's also a tad inconsistent with it working sometimes and other-times not.

My current setup:

  • Blender 2.91
  • Windows 10
  • Prisim v1.3.0.64

And a cool followup. This behavior happened again when doing it manually. Once so far though.

So I think it might be a Blender issue rather then with Prisim.

Interesting issue. Does it also happen in an empty scene?

Inconsistent issues are the most tricky ones. If you find out what was causing it feel free to post it here, even if it's not related to Prism.
