Looks like it could be useful in the future once more programs are supporting it. Could possibly solve the maya to houdini animation and shader workflow.

I haven't worked with usd yet, but it's good to see how easy it can be setup in Houdini. Yes that could make many things a lot easier.

Are there any Windows builds available for download? I have no Visual studio installed for building usd, but I'd like to play around with it in Houdini.

The video made me really interested in testing it. I'll try to compile it on Windows probably in a few days.
