dragging from prism project browser to nuke crashes

When I CTRL+ drag a task item from the project browser (from the thumbnail image) to my Nuke DAG some files work, but other files crash Nuke. It does this consistantly. Perhaps it has to do with some imports being sequences, and others single frames?

I'm dragging the output from a Prism Nuke write node called : shot_looseChange-010_ceilingpaint_v0001.0217.exr

It's a single frame, output from frame 217.

When I right click in the thumbnail on the project browser and select "import images" and select "current pass", I get a read node with an error: shot_looseChange-010_ceilingpaint_v0001.0000.exr because it doesn't exist.

When I right click and choose "import images" and select "all passes", I get the correct file.
