Cannot open project

We have been using the prism pipeline for a while now. But recently we've run into the following issue.

The prism browser/tray isn't able to open the project and produces the following message:

The project config doesn't contain the "project_name" setting. Cannot open project.

We can't really reproduce the problem but we think it might be related to the prism startup order, since restarting pc's will sometimes fix the problem. We're using a network drive (WebDAV)

This hapens only sometimes and not to everyone opening that project? After you press "OK" can you open the project without restarting your PC?

If it's caused by the webdav then I would assume it should work a few seconds later. In that case I could simply add a "Retry" button to that popup.

It looks like the project config file get's corrupted on certain pc's. Once the error starts the project can't be opened on the pc anymore.

The other pc's are still able to read the project just fine.

The only way to fix the problem is to create a new project and copy the assets/shots to the new project.

Restarting the prism tray/browser after the connection to the webDAV is established doesn't seem to fix the problem.

Is there any way this error is related to the prism prefs/ appdata?

No it's not related to the userprefs. Like the popup says there is a setting missing in the project config. You can open that config in a text editor and check if there is something missing: \00_Pipeline\pipeline.yml (in your project)

If it's working on other computers then you can simply copy the project config from one computer to replace the corrupted config on another.
