Lock file when opened

Hello,

I would like to know if there is any script or way to lock a file version when opened. So when another artist try to open it gives a message or show who has it opened.

At the moment there is no option for that, but I agree, it would be very nice to have that. It's already in the feature idea list as [0054], but I haven't started to work on that yet.
