Maya + Slib error

Hi guys,

I am using Slib Browser PRO, which needs to run Maya2019 as Administrator mode it seems, for credentials purposes, and that produce an error when I launch Maya from Prism windows tray.

so, until Prism integration, kind of a deal breaker, or is there another way to circumvent the issue ?

So I solved it by changing security setting on the plug-ins folder inside maya bin folder. Not the bet practice I think but it seems to work 🙂

Great that you could solve that problem already. I guess your fix removed the requirement to start Maya as admin.

Another option when you need to start an app as admin from the Prism Project Browser would be to start the PrismTray/Project Browser as admin (e.g. from the Windows start menu). When the Project Browser has admin privileges all apps you start from the Project Browser will also have admin privileges.
