Maya references overwritten by lambert1

We have a recurring issue, the models that are referenced in through the state manager somehow looses all their shading engine and gets initialShadingGroup and lambert1 assigned. It happens very randomly and only through Prism, anyone having the same issues? What can we do about it?

I didn't hear about it before. Prism is using the normal Maya referencing under the hood and Prism doesn't modify any shaders of the references.

If you have that problem, have you tried to open the Maya reference editor and check the reference edits? You could also try to unload and load the reference from the reference editor.
