Blender Steam version and Prism integration

Hi. I downloaded Prism 1.3.0.3 and I would like to know how to integrate my Blender Steam version with Prism?

How do I send dailies?

My Blender Steam version is not located in the usual Blender default blender location (standard installer). The usual location for Blender steam is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Blender

So I have configured that in the path for DCCs integrations, but I don't see Prism recognizing Blender 2.83.3 in this location.

What other step do I need to have Prism be activated inside my Blender Steam version?

Also, do I need to add an addon for Blender, so it can send dailies?

Thanks.

The Blender Steam version should work just like the normal Blender version.

You set the path to the Blender executable. This setting is only used to specify which Blender executable will be used when you double click a .blend file in the Prism Standalone Project Browser.

To use Prism inside Blender you need to click the "Add" button in the bottom right on your screenshot. Then you have to select the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Blender" folder. This will add the Prism integration to Blender. Now you can start Blender how you normally would do and you will have a Prism menu in the main menu bar of the Blender window.

For dailies you can select a rendering or a playblast version in the Project Browser and rightclick the preview image. There is an option "Send to dailies" which will create a link in a dailies folder to the currently selected version.

Another option to do dailies would be to publish your renderings to Shotgun add do the dailies through Shotgun/RV. For that you need a Shotgun account and connect it to Prism.

Thank you very much, Richard. I set the custom path, and Prism installed its menu automatically. Everything is working correctly now in Blender 2.83.3

Thanks for all the other solutions about rendering. I appreciate it.

Cheers!
