How to add departments within the Project Browser#

The following guide will demonstrate the process of adding departments in the Prism Project Browser.

Step-by-Step Guide#

To add departments for the recently created assets, select either a single asset or multiple assets at once by holding down "Shift" on the keyboard.

Right-click in the departments tab.

Select "Add department".

Choose "Modeling" department.

And then select "Create".

Modeling departments for both assets have been created.

In addition, multiple departments can be created by holding down shift during the selection.

With the "Task Preset" checkbox enabled, all the necessary departments can be created at once.

Custom departments can be created by right-clicking in the departments tab.

And selecting "Add Department...".

Right-click again into the empty space.

And select "Create new department...".

Set a "Department Name", an "Abbreviation" and select "Create".
