Render Composition#

How to render and save a composition to disk in After Effects?

A composition can be rendered via the Prism menu:

Select Render….
Open Choose… and select one or more shots.
Select or add a media Identifier.
Add a Comment.
Select any Composition.
Choose a render Template.
Select Render.

Hint

The render output can be found in the Media tab of the Project Browser.

Add to Render Queue#

How to add and setup a composition to the Render Queue in After Effects?

A composition can be added to the Render Queue via the Prism menu:

Select Render….
Open Choose… and select one or more shots.
Select or add a media Identifier.
Add a Comment.
Select any Composition.
Choose a render Template.
Select Add to Render Queue.

Hint

The composition is now set up and added to the Render Queue.

Render settings can be further adjusted in the Render Queue.
And the Render Queue can be rendered.
