Render animation switching file format to PNG, Blender 3.0, Prism v1.3.0.83

Hello Prism team.

I've been trying to render different types of sequences or movie files but once I set up my file extension right after I press render animation it switches the file type to PNG and that's all I can output.

I'm using Blender 3.0.1 but it happened with version 3.0.0 also.

I was under the impression that no matter what format you picked, you always get EXRs. If I could render to PNG instead of EXR, I would like that since they are typically smaller than, I don't use any of the 'features' of the EXR format.
