How to install Prism Plugins (Integrations)#

The following guide will demonstrate the process of installing different Prism plugins.

To integrate Prism into a DCC of choice, the plugin installation is required.

Choose "Browse Plugins...", to open the Prism Hub.

And log in with the credentials.

As an example the Prism-Houdini integration will be installed on the system.

Select "Install".

And confirm with "Yes" to setup the integration.

Prism recognizes by default the usual Houdini configuration location. If there is a different location, select custom to point to a specific directory.

Continue with "Install" and start up Houdini.

Inside Houdini a Prism menu is now available in the top menu bar.

Additional integrations such as Maya, Blender and Nuke are now being installed in the background.

The process for installing plugins in Prism, is identical for all integrations, however some integrations may require a custom file path or additional settings need to be set.
